Shirley was raised in the boot hill of Missouri. After accepting Christ as her Savior, she and her husband (Herbert, now with the Lord), moved to Florida to attend Pensacola Bible College to learn more about Scripture. While working as an administrative assistant for the college, they came to Mountain Home in 1983 on a mission trip to help TLBC get started in its first year. The Lord gave them such a deep love for the area and the church, they moved from Florida in 1986 to be part of the TLBC family. Shirley began serving as a volunteer ministry assistant and joined the staff in 1987. Shirley has witty humor and a bright smile that you will enjoy if you come by our office or call. She helps us with so many things and in so many areas, there isn’t room to put them in this paragraph. When she’s not at the office helping others, she enjoys sewing, crafts, and her dogs. She has two sons and two daughters. One of her favorite scripture verses is 1 Timothy 2:5.
