(Isaiah 9:6-7)
The gift of Christ was far greater than offering Israel hope from exile, it was a reminder of God’s continual promise to send a Savior for all people. In declaring the coming of our Savior, the prophet gives us several of His names. It’s the Christmas card promising a Christmas gift.
