FAQs

Which Building Should I Go To First?
When you arrive on our parking lot, you will see four buildings from left to right: Our Young @ Heart Center (with the blue awning), our Sanctuary (with the steeple), our Children’s Center (next to the Sanctuary), and the Hope Center (up on the hill).

You will see golf cart drivers in the parking lot. They're there to give you directions and a ride to any of the buildings from your car if you like.

Each Sunday, our Connect Groups (Sunday School/small groups) meet in rooms throughout all of these buildings at 9:00 AM. Visit find your connect group for more info.

Our Worship Service begins at 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary. As you walk inside the Sanctuary you will receive a smile from our greeters and a bulletin for the morning services. We welcome you to visit the information desk for any questions you may have!
What Are Services Like?
The service will begin with a welcome followed by singing. We enjoy a blended style of worship music including modern songs & old songs led by a praise team, a band, and sometimes a choir. Lyrics are always provided so you can sing along! After congregational singing, you will hear a message from the Bible. Our services usually last an hour and fifteen minutes and we end service with a prayer, then an invitation to greet our pastors and their wives in the Welcome Room.

We take an offering during the service, but as our guests, don’t feel obligated to give, unless you feel led to.
What Should I Wear?
Wear what is comfortable for you! TLBC is a casual church. We believe God is more concerned about the condition of our hearts and relationship with Him than He is with the look or style of our clothing. Whether you want to dress up or wear jeans, we are simply happy you are here.
Can My Baby/Kids Stay In Worship Service?
All Children are welcome to stay with their parents during Connect Group time and/or our Worship Service.

However, if you prefer, we do provide childcare for babies through preschool age during Connect Groups as well as Worship Service.

During this time, our caring and highly qualified volunteers will guide kids in play, arts & crafts, snack time, learning about God, and hearing that Jesus loves them! In our Preschool area, we have a separate Babies Room with cribs, changing tables, rocking chairs, and age-appropriate toys.
Where Are the Kids' Areas?
Our Kindergarten, Preschool and Babies area is located down the hall to your right after you enter the Sanctuary's main doors (you can also enter from the right side of the Sanctuary).

When you drop your kindergartner, baby or preschooler off, you will sign them in and receive a security tag for child pickup.. This is the area in which both the babies and preschoolers will stay for Connect Group & Worship Service times.

Kids (grades K-4) meet in the TL Kids Center Lobby to the left of our Sanctuary building during Connect Group time. Here, you can check them in and pick them up after Connect Groups before 10:25 AM. After 10:25, you can pick them up from at our check-in station in the Children's Center Lobby.
What About Children's Church?
During the Worship Service, we offer a children’s service called “Fun Church” for grades 1-4 in the Children’s Area. You will need to check the kids in at the TL Kids Center Lobby down the hall to the left of the Sanctuary before you come to worship. Kids who have already checked into this area for Connect Groups/Sunday School will not need to be checked in again for Fun Church. (Please note that all kids are also welcome to stay in the worship service with their parents/guardians.)

During Fun Church, kids will sing songs, hear a Bible lesson, play games, and have a snack.

Parents will pick their kids up at the TL Kids Center Lobby after Worship Service concludes.

What Does TLBC Believe?

As Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’" (Matthew 22:37-39). At Twin Lakes, we believe in Loving God and Loving People. You can read our beliefs in full when you click the button below.

How Can I Get Connected?

Our primary goal is to make disciples of Jesus by connecting you to God and other believers. Each week during our Connect Group time, we discuss the previous week’s sermon focusing more specifically on how to apply the message from God’s Word to our daily lives. We have Connect Groups for all ages. Click below to find yours!

Can I listen to past sermons?

We have a full media library of our latest sermons and sermon series'. We welcome you to check these out and get a taste of what God is calling us to preach here at TLBC!
