DEFEATING THE EVIL EMPIRE

(Ephesians 6:10-13)

The Old Testament is full of passages describing God’s people as an army with the Lord as the greatest warrior. In Ephesians we have discussed the treasure we have in Christ together. We have explored all this beautiful imagery of grace and the wonder of salvation. But this beautiful life is lived while camped out in enemy territory. We are in a spiritual battle with Satan and his spiritual forces in which there is no truce, no quarter given, no compromise.
